The distinctive slats are intentionally spaced to allow light and air to flow through, lightening the strong aesthetic of this otherwise sturdy industrial design. The Nelson Bench seat frame has been reinforced with mortise and tenon joints for maximum strength and durability. The Nelson Bench legs are also made of rubberwood and only come in a black finish, just like the original design.
